Introduction            Tools 

     The USGS (U.S. Geological Survey) provides reliable scientific information from all over the nation.  For our purpose to learn more about Connecticut River, 13 USGS Gaging Stations are chosen along the river stream, from  near Canadian border to mouth of Long Island Sound as shown on the right.  
     Clicking on the stations' name takes you to the station's website, however, using exploring tools (click on the "Exploring Tools" link above) might be more helpful to explore the USGS websites better.
