Grimmer-Solem Earns Teaching, Research
Award
Erik Grimmer-Solem, assistant professor of history, received the Carol
A. Baker '81 Memorial Prize for excellence in teaching and research in
April. The Baker Prize is awarded to a junior faculty member to
encourage and recognize excellence in teaching and research. Grimmer-Solem's
current research is on the role of economists and other social
scientists in German imperialism before 1918.
